RobotAtom decision register

What will the cleaning regime touch?

A robot-body IP code does not describe the installed tool, cables, mounts or cleaning method. Record the exact system and the evidence each exposed part needs before the site team decides what to test.

Fix one installed configuration

Map exposed parts to the site cleaning regime. A rating or certificate for one component cannot clear the others.

Review a cleaning-instruction change

Keep the earlier evidence attached to its original instruction. Record the changed limits and affected parts before considering whether any result still applies. For an unchanged instruction, record the comparison scope and dated review; do not leave this blank.

A recorded review is not cleaning validation, compatibility approval or permission to restart.

Trace each exposed part

Trace the installed replacement, not just the order

Link one replaced component to its location, installation record and evidence scope. For no replacement, record the dated inspection scope and unchanged identifiers explicitly. A completed record does not approve food contact or restart.

Robot arm and flanges
End effector and product-facing surfaces
Tool changer, cables and utilities
Base, mounts and nearby guarding
Sensors, covers and service points
Record one cleaning exception and its repeat check

Keep the correction separate from its verification. For a no-exception record, state the inspection scope and dated result rather than leaving the evidence empty. Entries never approve restart.

14 open evidence gaps

No automatic pass is issued. The site team must verify the actual installation and cleaning outcome.

  • Define the configuration, product, zone, cleaning regime, limits and site verification owner.
  • Robot arm and flanges: dated evidence, exposure, owner or disposition remains open.
  • End effector and product-facing surfaces: dated evidence, exposure, owner or disposition remains open.
  • Tool changer, cables and utilities: dated evidence, exposure, owner or disposition remains open.
  • Base, mounts and nearby guarding: dated evidence, exposure, owner or disposition remains open.
  • Sensors, covers and service points: dated evidence, exposure, owner or disposition remains open.
  • Cleaning exception: correction, dated retest, criteria and named review remain unresolved; restart withheld.
  • Cleaning instruction: record the previous and current document revisions.
  • Cleaning instruction: map the changed limits to affected parts and earlier evidence.
  • Cleaning instruction: dated owner review remains open; earlier evidence is not carried forward.
  • Replacement component: identify the location, removed part and exact installed part or lot.
  • Replacement component: dated installation evidence remains missing.
  • Replacement component: connect material evidence to the actual contact and cleaning conditions.
  • Replacement component: dated qualified review and restrictions remain open; no release is issued.

Entries stay in this browser tab; the download is local. RobotAtom receives aggregate tool-use events, not form entries.

What happened between cleaning and the next use?

A completed cleaning task does not describe the interval afterwards. Record protection, access and the next-use check separately. Keep this local worksheet free of personal or confidential information; typed values are not sent to analytics.

7 fields remain open

  • Installed configuration and food-contact boundary
  • Cleaning completion time, procedure and evidence reference
  • Protection and storage conditions after cleaning
  • Access, maintenance or other intervening events (record none if verified)
  • Planned next use, product and time
  • Dated pre-use check, method, result and evidence reference
  • Qualified reviewer, date, restrictions and unresolved action

No safe holding time is calculated. Completing the record does not validate cleaning, establish food safety or authorise restart.

A question register, not a hygiene approval

This buyer-designed record exposes missing documentation and test ownership. A completed form does not prove a component is cleanable, food-contact suitable, chemically compatible or safe. Qualified food-safety, hygiene, engineering and safety owners must define the applicable requirements and acceptance methods for the actual application.

3-A Standard 103-00 addresses robot-based systems in food processing, including the relationships between arm, tooling and dressing. A component qualification or an IP test is not a whole installed-cell pass. EHEDG Guideline 62 Part 1 covers fundamental robot criteria in open wet- and dry-cleaned food-processing environments; its full paid text was not reviewed for this register.
