RobotAtom buyer evidence tool
Can the measurement support the tolerance claim?
A robot's motion rating and a table of in-limit readings do not settle whether the working measurement method is suitable. Build one reviewable record for one output characteristic, with the method, uncertainty and limit decision kept visible.
Trace one tolerance claim to its measurement
Fill this in with the process and quality owners. A blank stays open; this form does not turn a typed assertion into verified evidence.
Record the decision at the limit
Use the rule agreed for this task. A value close to a limit may require an indeterminate outcome and further measurement; no numeric guard band is assumed here.
Tolerance claim not verified by this record
Only the responsible quality and process owners can assess method suitability, uncertainty and the result. This tool never issues a pass, capability index or certificate.
10 open evidence fields:
- Named output characteristic, drawing revision and limits
- Units, datum or reference and measurement location
- Cell, program, tool, fixture, material range and trial dates
- Working measurement method, instrument or vision version
- Reference, calibration chain and source date
- Resolution, operators, setup, range and stability evidence
- Task-specific uncertainty assessment and owner
- Agreed near-limit decision rule and accountable owner
- Raw results, exclusions, interventions and evidence location
- Changes that require measurement or process re-review

Compare the earlier and current measurement records
Use references to two frozen records. This worksheet flags missing pairs and different typed entries; it cannot determine technical equivalence or whether readings can be pooled.
OPEN — comparison not reviewed
5 missing paired references; 0 different typed entries.
Matching text is not proof of unchanged conditions. A completed record can still withhold comparison. Preserve both raw datasets and ask the qualified quality or metrology owner what can be compared and what needs new evidence.
Entries stay in this tab; the download is local. Analytics record aggregate tool-use events, not your entries. No tolerance, conformity or operating approval is issued.
Use the record to request evidence, not declare conformity
ISO 22514-7:2026 addresses measurement-system validation for a specific task, primarily through a simplified approach for one-dimensional measurements. ISO 14253-1:2017 addresses uncertainty-aware conformity decisions within its geometrical-product-specification scope. Neither public catalogue entry chooses your method or decision rule; the full paid standards were not reviewed for this tool.
NIST's measurement guidance distinguishes repeatability, reproducibility, stability, bias and resolution. A study detached from the working setup may miss what matters at the production limit. Ask a qualified quality or metrology owner to select the method and assess the uncertainty.
