RobotAtom thermal evidence tool
What changed besides the thermal image?
Compare the baseline and current capture, record differences and keep the reviewer's decision visible. This is a local evidence register, not a fault detector or maintenance approval.
Keep both capture geometries in the review packet
Record how the target was presented to the camera in each capture. Use the same distance reference points and mm units. Keep focus and target-coverage evidence separate; a visible target or digital zoom is not a measurement-quality check.
12 geometry entries missing or invalid
- Baseline: record camera and lens
- Baseline: record viewpoint and target framing
- Baseline: record focus evidence
- Baseline: record target coverage evidence
- Baseline: record dated capture reference
- Baseline: enter a finite positive camera-to-target distance in mm
- Current: record camera and lens
- Current: record viewpoint and target framing
- Current: record focus evidence
- Current: record target coverage evidence
- Current: record dated capture reference
- Current: enter a finite positive camera-to-target distance in mm
Distance change withheld: both finite positive distances are required.
0 changed entries to review
Entry review and distance arithmetic only. Equal entries do not establish equivalent geometry, measurement accuracy, machine condition or permission to operate. Text comparisons are literal after trimming; matching wording does not verify the physical capture. Different focus or coverage references require reading their evidence, not comparing file names.
Reviewer note remains open. Do not move closer to equipment or change an inspection route without the responsible site controls. Continue recording load, surface and environmental conditions in the comparison register below.
Entries remain in this tab and local download. Aggregate events contain no entered values or references. No image inspection, pixel threshold, temperature correction or maintenance permission is supplied.
Compare the capture conditions before interpreting the difference
Use dated document references, not confidential images or asset details. Entries stay in this tab until downloaded and are discarded when the tab closes. No temperatures or acceptance limits are calculated.
6 comparison rows incomplete
0 differences, unknowns or invalid captures remain recorded. Filling every field does not make the captures comparable or establish machine condition.
- Asset and region of interest
- Load, speed and time in operating state
- Surface, emissivity and reflected-temperature inputs
- Viewpoint, distance, focus and intervening optics
- Environment and nearby heat sources
- Camera, calibration, settings and data format
Generated locally. Aggregate tool-use events contain no entered answers.
Keep the comparison inside its evidence
Fluke distinguishes reference captures, trends in the same component and comparisons between similar components under comparable conditions. FLIR's camera documentation identifies emissivity and reflected temperature as important measurement inputs. Neither source supplies a universal anomaly threshold for your asset.
Geometry method added 16 October 2026: FLIR explains why target coverage depends on the camera, optics and distance; Fluke explains why focus affects measurement. The paired record preserves evidence for those checks without supplying a universal pixel rule or deciding comparability.
The record structure is RobotAtom's coordination method. An unknown load, changed surface or invalid capture remains an exception even when the record is complete. Obtain the applicable instructions and qualified assessment for your actual camera and asset.
