What turns a tending cycle into accepted output?

Record the comparable demand window and the owner of each machine, robot, operator, quality and downstream event. Leave unknowns visible before accepting a cell or line-output claim.

Comparison boundary
Event source and owner
Part identity and presentation

Likely owner to confirm: Material or line owner. Name the actual site source and owner; do not assume a catalogue signal is installed.

Machine ready and load request

Likely owner to confirm: Machine builder or integrator. Name the actual site source and owner; do not assume a catalogue signal is installed.

Unload and load completion

Likely owner to confirm: Robot integrator. Name the actual site source and owner; do not assume a catalogue signal is installed.

Clamp, door and robot-clear state

Likely owner to confirm: Machine builder and integrator. Name the actual site source and owner; do not assume a catalogue signal is installed.

Job start, end and interruption

Likely owner to confirm: Machine or control owner. Name the actual site source and owner; do not assume a catalogue signal is installed.

Operator intervention and restart

Likely owner to confirm: Operations owner. Name the actual site source and owner; do not assume a catalogue signal is installed.

Accepted, rejected or pending part

Likely owner to confirm: Quality owner. Name the actual site source and owner; do not assume a catalogue signal is installed.

Downstream receipt or blocked state

Likely owner to confirm: Downstream process owner. Name the actual site source and owner; do not assume a catalogue signal is installed.

Unique-part disposition at the quality cutoff

Use one named production window and one current disposition per unique part. Rework is not an extra produced part: place a part awaiting rework or inspection in pending until its disposition changes. These self-reported counts are not verified production evidence.

Explain any other category in the count record. Leave unavailable counts blank; do not substitute zero.

Produced-counter window check — optional evidence lane

Keep this separate from accepted parts. Only compare readings from the same counter and production-order boundary; no accepted count is inferred or filled automatically.

Timestamp comparability review

A source timestamp, server receipt timestamp and operator entry time can describe different things. Do not infer clock synchronisation or event order from matching display formats.

This checks completeness only. It does not correct clocks, calculate duration or verify the review.

Entries stay in this browser form and are not sent or saved. Anonymous tool-use events may be recorded under RobotAtom’s analytics preference.

Evidence boundary

This is a buyer-side request register. It does not estimate good parts, calculate OEE, prescribe safety controls, certify an interface or approve unattended operation. Keep work that overlaps machine processing as parallel intervals rather than summing every duration into a serial cycle.

The event categories are a RobotAtom synthesis from the OPC UA Machine Tools job-runtime and KPI model and a manufacturer’s machine-tending I/O example. Each installation must verify its own signals, owners, part references and quality disposition.
